WEDDINGS AT CASA ALLEGRA TRENTHAM

Casa Allegra, with its spacious Studio set amongst beautiful gardens, is a country venue that exudes simple, understated elegance and offers the perfect environment for your Wedding Celebration to be truly unique.

You can choose to stay at the property while enjoying your ceremony and wedding celebrations in The Studio and Gardens.  You may also rent Casa Andante next door for additional accommodation.

All hire rates are in addition to a minimum 2-night stay at Casa Allegra.

The property may be used for weddings between the hours of 9am and 8pm, 7 days a week.

FACILITIES:  

The Studio

The Studio measures 12 x 9 metres and is suited for up to 90 people for a stand up event, and up to approx 60 for a seated event, depending on the table configuration.

We can arrange for the sofas and the table tennis table to be moved, in order to create more space for an event. 

The billiard table may not be moved, however it may be covered (a cover is supplied), and be used as a table. The armoire is also unable to be moved.

The Garden

The garden is approximately 4000 sqm and has many beautiful places to hold a wedding ceremony, including a rose arbour.

ADDITIONAL COSTS

Catering: 

The caterer can be chosen from our list of preferred caterers or you may provide your own caterer.

Caterers will supply all crockery and cutlery for the event. Caterers may use the kitchen in the house at Casa Allegra.

If using your own caterer, please ensure that they obtain a liquor license.

You will be responsible for the cost of the caterer, for any facility brought in (marquee, tables, chairs etc), music and lighting equipment, and for the disposal of rubbish generated by the wedding.

Celebrants: 

You should organise your own celebrant. I have the details of some local celebrants if you require them.

Music:  

If you would like to have live music at your event, please ensure that the volume is in keeping with the Council by-laws, and that it does not disturb the neighbours.

PARKING:

Guests’ who are not staying at the property, but visiting for the wedding may park their cars along High Street, Blue Mount Road or Mulchays Road. 

INVITATIONS

Invitations to guests must be specific about the finish time of the event.  There are many options in the area for post wedding celebrations to continue, and we are happy to provide you with some ideas about this.

You will be required to organize suitable insurance for the event as you are responsible for the well-being and safety of your guests (caterers should already have this insurance).

A Terms of Trading Form must be signed and returned at the time the booking deposit is made.

Our preference is that weddings be held only during the daytime, and non-resident guests must depart by 10pm.   

The property may be used for weddings between the hours of 9am and 8pm, Sunday to Thursday and 9am to 10pm Friday & Saturday.

For a ceremony only at Casa Allegra, you can choose a 3-hour block, which includes time for canapés and refreshments and photographs on site.  The price for this is $1,000 +gst

For an 8-hour block including wedding ceremony and celebration and photos, the rate is $3000 + gst

Arrangements can be made for set up before the function depending on the house bookings prior to your event.

2 nights, $2000+gst

1 night only (only mid-week), $1500+gst

WEEKENDS (Fri & Sat)

2 nights min, $2400 +gst

Accommodation at Casa Andante

MID WEEK (Sun-Thurs)

 2 nights, $2000+gst

1 night (only Mid week) $1500+gst

WEEKENDS (Fri & Sat)

2 nights, $2400+gst

Any catering/ activities/ facilitation etc is in addition to accommodation.

DEPOSIT

To secure a booking, 50% of final cost is required to hold your date and final payment is required one month prior to the event date. The Terms of Trading form must be signed and returned as part of your booking. A $1000 security deposit is held for each function, which will be refunded after the event if the property is left as it was found.
