Trentham, Daylesford and the Macedon ranges are abundant with amazing local providers, incredible growers, local farmers markets, beautiful cafes, restaurants, and pubs, vineyards and caterers that can come to you and cook at any of our houses.
In Trentham itself there are wonderful places to experience if you are a lover of food and wine. There are two great pubs, The Cosmopolitan and The Plough, Red beard Bakery is renowned for its wonderful bread and baked goods and the Trentham General is a truly beautiful café. There is produce store Ruby Goose, a well-stocked IGA, The Cosmopolitan Wine store, a good country bakery and the amazing Annie Smithers restaurant Du Fermier.

Dining in-house
If you are wanting to organise a wonderful dining experience at the house, local chefs Emma James, Joechem Hoekstra or Adele Stevens can cater for you; either 2 course, 3 course or share plate options. Their food is generous, interesting and mainly from beautiful local produce.
They can provide anything from home-delivered meals to in-house full dinner party experience. Delefoodstore also has a shop in the main street with delicious take-home meals. Ruby Goose Grocer in the main street also has some pre-prepared meals as well as wonderful fresh local produce.

Pubs
There are four great country pubs. The Cosmopolitan Hotel (lunch and dinner and has a lovely beer garden), The Plough (open for lunch only), are both walking distance from the house. Radio Springs Hotel in Lyonville (they have a courtesy minibus which you can pre-book 03 53485562) is a quirky fun place to dine.
Cafes
Cafes include, Chaplin’s, Redbeard Bakery, At Eric’s in Market st and the Trentham General.
Cooking at home
Then of course you can always cook at home. The local IGA has everything you would need (close time 7:00pm and Summer 8:00pm. You can also do an online order and they will deliver to the house. If that is not enough to keep you busy, Daylesford, Kyneton and Woodend are all about 20 mins away!
