Our first house, Casa Adagio in Daylesford, was a peaceful haven from our busy lives in Melbourne with Miguel running his Antique business, Miguel Meirelles Antiques and Anna working as an executive coach and facilitator. We loved the process of renovating and furnishing the house. In 2012, we decided to share our beautiful country home with others and found that people were very appreciative of having a nurturing place for rest, gathering with friends and family.

In exploring the region, we discovered the hidden treasure of Trentham and there we found the perfect place to transform into another beautiful home to share with others. Casa Allegra has been a wonderful introduction to the special community of Trentham. The private and peaceful garden and studio have become a lovely space for gatherings, retreats and workshops. We were tempted once again to transform the neighbouring house the beautiful Casa Andante which has allowed for more accommodation for retreats and intimate events being held at Casa Allegra, as well as a separate accommodation option.

We chose to give the three properties Italian names to reflect Miguel’s European heritage as he was living in Italy before we met and moved to Australia. Adagio, Allegra and Andante are Classical music terms, which represent the feel of each Casa.

Our “Casa” family is complete and we hope that by sharing these beautiful homes we bring happiness to others.
